Your charitable gift is fully tax deductible. Episcopal Day School is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)3.

We are an economically diverse community and each family is asked to thoughtfully consider a gift that will be personally meaningful for them. Gifts to the Fund range from $50 to $40,000. All we ask is that everyone participate by making a donation to the Mustang Fund every year, when asked.  

Our giving levels are:

• Inspirational: $50,000 and above
• Luminary: $30,000 to $49,999
• Visionary: $20,000 to $29,999
• Pathfinder: $10,000 to $19,999
• Innovator: $5,000 to $9,999
• Explorer: $1,000 to $4,999
• Mustangs: Gifts up to $999

Knowing that everyone contributes to Episcopal Day's fundraising programs helps strengthen and unite our community behind our mission, and the total becomes greater than the sum of its parts. 100% support for the Mustang Fund includes trustees, current and alumni families, grandparents, faculty, administration, and staff.

Raising tuition to the actual cost of educating each student would place too large a burden on many families, making it impossible for their children to attend Episcopal Day. By containing tuition costs through your support of the Mustang Fund, we are able to fulfill our commitment to attracting talented as well as diverse students. 

The Day School Foundation (DSF) was established as a nonprofit, charitable foundation in 1995. Its purpose is to manage funds raised by Episcopal Day in support of the school’s operations, educational programs, and facilities. The DSF is managed by an independent, five-member board comprised of current and alumni parents in close collaboration with the Board of Trustees of Episcopal Day School. 

There was a strong community consensus that Episcopal Day should prepare for long-term growth and capital improvements. Through a comprehensive strategic planning process, the result was our first-ever capital campaign, completing a $25M operation to build new facilities and grow enrollment.
