Celebrating Student Voices - 2024 Chapel Talks

At Episcopal Day School, our Chapel Talks serve as a cornerstone of our community, offering students, faculty, and guest speakers an opportunity to share personal reflections, meaningful stories, and messages that inspire and connect us.

A particularly significant part of this tradition is our Eighth Grade Chapel Talk Program. Each eighth grader takes the stage to deliver a speech on a topic that holds personal significance, demonstrating not only their growth as speakers but also their ability to reflect deeply and share their perspectives with the broader school community. These talks highlight our students’ development as thoughtful, confident, and compassionate leaders who are ready to take on the next chapter of their educational journey.

This year, our Chapel Talks have touched on themes of resilience, kindness, identity, and the power of community. Our speakers—both students and faculty—have shared personal stories that challenge us to think more deeply, act with empathy, and embrace our shared values.
