Celebrating the End of the 2023-2024 School Year: A Magical Journey

As the 2023-2024 school year came to a close, we found ourselves reflecting on an incredible journey marked by growth, achievement, and a deep sense of community. Our inspiring eighth grade class truly showcased the value of our program, reminding us of the profound impact of a connected community and a program focused on developing future agents of change.

The final week of school was a wonderful ending to a year filled with memories and milestones.

The week kicked off with the Faculty Recognition Chapel, a yearly event that honors the dedication and contributions of our incredible faculty and staff. This year, the Class of 2024 chose to dedicate the yearbook to two remarkable educators: Mr. Levy and Mr. Wolfe, and Ms. Yu was named the Spirit of Episcopal Day Award Winner. This is an award given to a faculty member who embodies the spirit of our school. 

Tuesday we celebrated our students who exemplify the Mustang ideals of service, leadership, and excellence. We honored outstanding achievements in service and leadership, STEM, performing arts, and athletics.

Wednesday brought the highly anticipated faculty v.s. eighth graders kickball game. Our eighth graders played a great game, but sadly, they lost…Go mustangs! While it might have been our faculty who claimed victory, no one can say it wasn’t a great game. 

Thursday was a day filled with mixed emotions as we said goodbye to another academic year. We celebrated our youngest learners in our pre-kindergarten and kindergarten promotion ceremony, and promoted our first through seventh graders to their next grade level. 

Later, we gathered to honor and celebrate the Class of 2024, a group of students who have left an unforgettable mark on our school. Families, friends, and faculty came together to commend their achievements and wish them well on their next adventures. It was a ceremony filled with joy, a tear or two, and a deep sense of community.

As we bid farewell to the Class of 2024, we are confident that they will carry our Mustang ideals with them into the world. We cannot wait to see the positive impact they will make and the change they will bring to their new communities. Stay in touch! We will miss you and we are rooting for you, always.
