Donuts for a Cause - Donut Day 2025
Donuts for a Cause: A Sweet Tradition at EDS
There’s no better way to start the day than with donuts and community! This year’s Donut Day was a huge success, thanks to our incredible DSPA volunteers who made sure the day was perfect in every way from the donuts to the impeccable fun.
But beyond the sweetness, this beloved tradition carries a deeper purpose. Proceeds from Donut Day support Literacy Around the World through the African Library Project, helping bring books and a love of reading to communities in need. Thanks to this year’s support, Mr. Paulson is now packing up our seventeenth shipment of books! Since 2016, our Episcopal Day community has helped establish libraries in Swaziland, Malawi, Botswana, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, and beyond.
Each book sent is an opportunity for learning, growth, and connection—proof that small efforts, like enjoying a donut on a Friday morning, can make a big impact.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this event possible. And a special shoutout to fifth grader Mia N. for capturing the joy of the morning with her amazing photography for this year’s yearbook!
