Summer Magic at Mustang Summer Academy

Mustang Summer Academy is in full swing, and our campus has been buzzing with energy, imagination, and joy all month long. From dance and computer science to sports and Kinder Academy, our rising K–fourth graders have spent July exploring new interests, building friendships, and discovering the excitement of learning beyond the traditional classroom.

In Kinder Academy, students have been diving into hands-on learning by making bread, churning butter, and crafting their own pizzas. The excitement didn’t stop there though, and they even opened their own restaurant and shop yesterday, delighting in pretend play and collaboration. To top it off, Mrs. Martens brought extra joy to the day with face painting for all.

Meanwhile, our young coders in Computer Science proudly received their certificates of accomplishment earlier this month. They shared their projects and what they’ve learned with members of our community, showcasing their growth and creativity. Just before the presentations, our Dance Academy students gave a dazzling performance, choreographed and brought to life by Ms. Onisko.

At Episcopal Day School, summer learning is more than academics, it's about cultivating curiosity, confidence, and connection. We’re so proud of our students, it's been a blast at the Mustang Summer Academy, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!
