2023 Charles House Christmas Pageant

2023 Charles House Christmas Pageant

December 21, 2023

In a heartwarming display of holiday cheer, the annual Charles House Christmas pageant unfolded on December 21, 2023, as our pre-K and kindergarten students together with their fourth-grade peers brought the story of the nativity to life.

The stage was graced by an ensemble cast of young talents, with Jonny and Anderson taking the reins as the charming narrators. The fourth-grade students played the crucial roles of Helping Angels, guiding the audience through the enchanting narrative.

Kindergarten students Yuna and Arin played Joseph and Mary. Yuna took on the role of Mary, while Arin portrayed Joseph with grace. Brooks charmed the audience as Mary's donkey, accompanied by Maurice and Aaron, who played the other donkeys. Warren brought the character of the innkeeper to life, and Quinn portrayed the angel Gabriel.

The barnyard came alive with the delightful presence of Amory, Chloe, and Devon, who moo-ved the audience and brought the cows to life. The shepherds, played by Evan, Willy, Ethan, Andrew, Frances, and Timmy, skillfully tended to their flock of sheep portrayed by Connor, Nathaniel, Hassan, Arlen, James, Penelope, Avery and Owen.

Our doves, Sophia, Victoria, and Neiv, took flight when Akhila, Alyssa, Samuel, Emmy, and Noe, our lead angels, joined them on stage. They were accompanied by a host of angels portrayed by Seleste, Grace, Evelyn, Parker, Iona, Healy, Clara, Aaria, Lindsay, David, Charlestyn, Mary Kate, and Leia who filled the stage with celestial grace. Finally, the three wise kings, portrayed by Nick, Harrison, and Jake, completed the festive tableau.

The Charles House Christmas pageant left us all with warm hearts and joyous memories, as the young performers showcased their talent and spread the holiday spirit with their endearing rendition of the classic story. A special thanks to our faculty and staff Ms. Bejar, Ms. Byrne, Ms. Espinoza, Ms. Garcia, Ms. Grieve, Mrs. Hudec, Mrs. Martens, Mrs. McDougall, Mrs. Samta, Ms. Sanchez, and Mrs. Semien, who helped direct and guided our students as they brought the story to life. Special thanks go to the DSPA (Day School Parents Association) for providing the reception.
