What's in a day?

Making a positive impact in our community, traveling back in time to the gold rush, singing in Chapel, and cheering on fellow Mustang athletes are just a few things that enrich an Episcopal Day student’s academic career. Learn more below.

Our Community

Hear our students, families, and faculty speak to the unique feeling that is the Episcopal Day community.

Student Leadership

We believe a child is to be seen, heard, and appreciated.

Self-esteem and self-respect grow when a school has the intention to know a student's unique characteristics. In this way, a student gains the courage for public speaking and self-advocacy which are  powerful tools in their education.

Service Learning

The best leaders are those who take time to serve others.

Episcopal Day prepares students to be leaders of positive change in the world. All students explore how to be a compassionate neighbor and proactive agent of positive change by diving into grade-level service learning units in the classroom which culminate in hands-on projects.

Chapel

Chapel is where we come together to self-reflect and feel a sense of connection.

In taking time to simply pause and learn from one another, we develop a stronger sense of self and identity, and a realization that we are each an integral part of a larger whole. By the time that students graduate from Episcopal Day, they know who they are and what they are capable of, and how to approach themselves and others with love and compassion.

Beyond the Classroom

Experiential learning and team building adventures play a key role in bringing our curriculum to life.

Students are encouraged to explore the world outside their comfort zones.

Athletics

At Episcopal Day, everybody plays.

The Episcopal Day Athletics Program provides students the opportunity to participate in competitive after-school sports and inspires leadership through teamwork. We encourage all eligible students to participate in athletics.

The Learning Center

A resource for all members of the Episcopal Day community.

Learning Specialists and the School Counselor provide additional academic and emotional support for students and families.

Mustang Afterschool Program

We provide after-school activities Monday through Friday for all students.

Time is set aside in the afternoon for free play and families also have the option to sign up for enrichment classes, ranging from tennis to ukulele.

Parents as Partners

We foster a strong partnership between home and school.

Parents are welcomed into a rich school community, bustling with activities, events, performances, and more.
