Welcome to Auxiliary Programs
Welcome to the Auxiliary Programs for the 2024-25 school year! Auxiliary Programs include our Mustang Afterschool Program (MAP), our Learning Enrichment Afterschool Program (LEAP), and our Mustang Day Camps.
Mustang Afterschool Program (MAP)
MAP is designed to meet our families' needs and students' interests by providing after-school activities Monday through Friday for all students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Time is set aside in the afternoon for a daily snack, free play, study time, art, structured games, optional enrichment courses, and more. MAP operates during some holidays and in-service days.
All students are automatically signed up for MAP, so parents can have their students attend the program any day. If a family finds itself needing to use MAP unexpectedly, it's helpful to send an email to the student's teacher and the Director of Auxiliary Programs (tmackin@episcopaldaysanmateo.org). Parents are also encouraged to email or call the front desk anytime they have a question, concern, or change from their student's normal schedule.
Students at curbside pickup who are not picked up at the end of their pickup window will be automatically sent to MAP. Parents will be charged for the time their student is in our care.
Learning Enrichment Afterschool Program (LEAP)
In addition to MAP, students in kindergarten through eighth grade have the option of participating in our Learning Enrichment Afterschool Program during regular MAP hours. LEAP classes typically meet once a week and vary by session. Some previous examples of these classes include basketball, robotics, coding, cooking, dance, and chess. Students may enroll in more than one enrichment class. Additional charges apply per class enrolled. Participation in these courses will be on a first come first serve basis. We work with qualified individuals and organizations to make sure our LEAP program provides great learning experiences for all students and we are constantly striving to improve our offerings.
